26.11.21 – Перестала работать клавиатура, в ноутбук не войти. Как я решал эту проблему (The keyboard stopped working, you can’t enter the laptop. How I solved this problem)
За долгие годы общения с ПК впервые столкнулся с этой проблемой. Накануне за полночь закончил работу, всё функционировало нормально. Утром включил ПК, открылась страница входа, а клавиатура не работает, не могу ввести логин и пароль входа.
Задействовал походный нетбук и попытался найти решение этой проблемы в Инете. Странно, но статей на эту тему оказалось море, но все они исходили из того, что ПК открыт и нигде не увидел, что делать, если невозможно войти.
Может я плохо искал, но полтора дня дали нулевой результат. Параллельно проконсультировался по телефону со знакомым айтишником. Но он не помог, потому что не мог лично присутствовать.
Конечно, я не сидел всё это время за ПК, других дел тоже достаточно. Отчаявшись уже решил вызывать мастера, но в последний раз решил ещё раз повнимательнее ознакомиться со страницей входа. В правом нижнем углу есть значки:
– Интернет (подключение к сети)
– Язык
– Специальные возможности
– Питание (значок аккумулятора)
Список специальных возможностей включает экранную клавиатуру. Попробовал – работает, удалось ввести атрибуты входа, ноутбук открылся. Осталось решить вопрос, как запустить клавиатуру. Пробовал включить внешнюю – не работает. Поскольку терять было нечего, я открыл раздел “Оборудование и звук ПК”, зашел в диспетчер устройств, выключил, а затем включил клавиатуру, и все заработало. Я позвонил своему айтишнику и сказал, что решил проблему. Он засмеялся: «Забавно, включил и выключил, и это сработало. Я учту это для себя”.
Пишу к тому, что иногда серьезные проблемы можно решить довольно простыми способами, главное не паниковать и пытаться понять, откуда уши растут.
И ещё. То, что касается сдачи вашего дружка в ремонт, это крайний случай. Всегда надо помнить о том, что информация на вашем ПК может попасть в недобросовестные руки, и это чревато порой серьёзными последствиями. Даже будучи чайником, таким как я, есть смысл разобраться с возникшими проблемами самому.

For many years of communication with a PC, I first encountered this problem. I finished work the day before, after midnight, everything was functioning normally. In the morning I turned on the PC, the login page opened, but the keyboard did not work, I could not enter the login and password.
I used a traveling netbook and tried to find a solution to this problem on the Internet. Strange, but there were a lot of articles on this topic, but they all proceeded from the fact that the PC was open and did not see anywhere what to do if it was impossible to enter.
Maybe I was looking badly, but a day and a half gave zero result. At the same time, I consulted on the phone with an IT specialist I knew. But he did not help, because he could not be personally present.
Of course, I didn’t sit all this time at the PC, there are enough other things too. Desperate, I already decided to call the wizard, but for the last time I decided to take a closer look at the login page again. There are icons in the lower right corner:
– Internet (network connection)
– Language
– Special abilities
– Power (battery icon)
The accessibility list includes an onscreen keyboard. I tried it – it works, I was able to enter the login attributes, the laptop opened. It remains to solve the question of how to start the keyboard. I tried to turn on the external one – it doesn’t work. Since there was nothing to lose, I opened the PC Hardware and Sound section, went into Device Manager, turned off and then turned on the keyboard, and it worked. I called my IT specialist and said that I had solved the problem. He laughed, “It’s funny, turned it on and off and it worked. I’ll take this into account for myself”.
I am writing to the fact that sometimes serious problems can be solved in fairly simple ways, the main thing is not to panic and try to understand where the ears are growing from.
And further. As for putting your friend in for repairs, this is an extreme case. You should always remember that information on your PC can fall into the wrong hands, and this is sometimes fraught with serious consequences. Even being a teapot like me, it makes sense to deal with the problems that have arisen yourself.

16.08.20 – Почему битые ссылки – это плохо и что с ними делаю я (Why broken links are bad and what am I doing?)
Среди множества вопросов, которые мне задавали, вопроса о битых ссылках не было. Об этом стоит поговорить хотя бы кратко. Во-первых, их не любят поисковые роботы. Во-вторых, это не нравится посетителям вашего сайта, которые хотят больше узнать о теме, освещаемой в ваших статьях.
Представив себе проверку всех ссылок в более чем 1500 статьях, уже напечатанных, я откровенно загрустил, на это никакого времени не хватит. Поскольку я программист никакой, стал искать программу, которая помогла бы проделать эту работу. И нашёл лучшее, что есть в этой сфере – плагин Broken Link Checker, который проверяет блог на наличие битых ссылок и отсутствующих изображений и уведомляет об этом в Консоли, если такие найдены. Количество битых ссылок убило – больше 2500. Пришлось разбираться.
Но это ещё не всё. Вплотную столкнулся с этой проблемой при переходе с протокола HTTP на HTTPS ( протокол безопасности SSL). Вот это было уже серьёзно. Перестали работать текстовые ссылки и, что особенно печально, многие изображения, выполненные в протоколе HTTP, просто перестали открываться. Чтобы перевести сайт в протокол HTTPS, нашёл и установил плагин Really Simple SSL, кстати, лучший в своём классе.
А теперь несколько слов о том, как я работаю с битыми ссылками. Не претендую на истину в последней инстанции, но кому-то может и пригодится.
Для удобства все ссылки поделил на три группы: 1) текстовые ссылки; 2) ссылки на изображения; 3) ссылки на адреса посетителей сайта. Ссылки первых двух групп, если есть время, я проверяю. Если нет, то помечаю их как рабочие. Дело в том, что чаще всего сбои происходят при некорректной работе серверов провайдеров (или при сбое работы сайтов, откуда взята информация) и при повторной проверке плагин их не выводит.
Что касается третьей группы, то я однозначно удаляю ссылки с меткой “Сервер не найден” и “404 Not Found”. Причина тому – огромное количество комментариев, проверить которые я физически не в состоянии, а потеря адреса комментария не приводит к удалению самого комментария. Все остальные ссылки третьей группы а помечаю как рабочие, либо, когда есть время, выборочно проверяю.
Ссылки с предупреждением “Время ожидания загрузки” я помечаю однозначно как рабочие и не заморочиваюсь, поскольку считаю, что это связано со скоростью работы серверов и сайтов, в чём имел возможность убедиться не раз.
Вот вроде как и всё.
P.S. Информация о битых ссылках идёт до сих пор, но теперь это связано в основном с переходом на протокол безопасности SSL.

Among the many questions I was asked, there was no question about broken links. It is worth talking about this at least briefly. Firstly, search robots don’t like them. Secondly, it is disliked by your site visitors who want to know more about the topic covered in your articles. So this question is not idle and requires a solution.
Imagining myself checking all the links in more than 1,500 already published articles, I became frankly sad, there was no time for this. Since I am not a programmer, I started looking for a program that would help me do this job. And I found the best in this area – the Broken Link Checker plugin, which checks the blog for broken links and missing images and notifies about it in the Console if any are found. The number of broken links killed – more than 2500. I had to figure it out.
But that is not all. I ran into this problem when moving from HTTP to HTTPS (SSL security protocol). This was already serious. Text links stopped working and, what is especially sad, many images made in the HTTP protocol, just stopped opening. To convert the site to the HTTPS protocol, I found and installed the Really Simple SSL plugin, by the way, the best in its class.
Now, a few words about how I work with broken links. I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth, but it may be useful to someone.
For convenience, I have divided all links into three groups: 1) text links; 2) links to images; 3) links to the addresses of site visitors. The links of the first two groups, if there is time, I check. If not, then I mark them as workers. The fact is that most often failures occur when the providers’ servers do not work correctly (or when the sites from which the information was taken fail), and when the plugin is checked again, they are not displayed.
As for the third group, I am definitely deleting the links labeled “Server not found” and “404 Not Found”. The reason for this is a huge number of comments, which I am physically unable to check, and the loss of the comment address does not lead to the deletion of the comment itself. I mark all other links of the third group as working, or, when I have time, I check it selectively.
I definitely mark links with the warning “Loading timeout” as working, because I think that this is due to the speed of servers and sites, since I had the opportunity to check more than once.
That’s kind of like everything.
P.S. Information about broken links is still going on, but now it is mainly due to the transition to the SSL security protocol.

Вы в курсе, что при времени загрузки сайта больше 4 сек, четверть пользователей уходит не дождавшись его открытия, а при времени около 3 сек ваш сайт будет загружаться быстрее, чем половина существующих сайтов в Интернете. Так что есть смысл постараться.
Теперь буквально в двух словах об этом полезном инструменте. В отличии от многих плагинов аналогичного назначения GTmetrix даёт подробнейшую инструкцию пользователю и, главное, рекомендации по повышению производительности вашего сайта. Пусть вас не смущает отсутствие проверочных серверов разработчика в вашей стране, выбирайте ближайший, а ещё лучше проверить свой сайт по всем доступным серверам. Здесь важен сам результат оценки.

Что применять, каждый решает сам в зависимости от целей и задач, которые он ставит перед собой. Свой набор я привёл только потому, что был задан прямой вопрос, что я использую.
Предлагаю вашему вниманию рекомендуемый набор плагинов, который пришёл от “Yoast SEO” в одной из последних рассылок. What to use, everyone decides for himself, depending on the goals and objectives that he sets for himself. I brought my set only because a direct question was asked what I am using.
Here’s a recommended set of plugins that came from “Yoast SEO” in one of the latest newsletters. Remember that any set of plugins is not a dogma, but only a recommendation, and you decide what to use, what not (link for viewing and downloading). As for me, in this set I did not find anything interesting for myself.

Вопрос о том, какую контактную форму я использую не так уж редок в комментариях. Контактная форма, установленная на моём сайте (плагин Contact Form by BestWebSoft) меня вполне устраивает. В одной из последних рассылок “Yoast SEO” рекомендует универсальный конструктор для контактных форм WP – плагин WPForms (ссылка для скачивания). Однако функциональность WPForms настолько впечатлила, что в ближайшее время попробую поэкспериментировать с ним.

В прошлом году я перешёл на “Yoast SEO”. Плагин показался более простым в настройке. Разработчик значительно чаще его обновляет и, кроме того, делает частую рассылку с полезными советами по ведению блога. There are two of the most powerful and most common SEO plugins. These are “All in One SEO Pack” (2+ million active installations) and “Yoast SEO” (5+ million active installations). Plugins are both good, you can choose any.
Last year, I switched to “Yoast SEO”. The plugin seemed easier to configure. The developer updates it much more often and, in addition, makes frequent newsletters with useful tips for blogging. Ранее я уже писал, причиной приобретения мною компьютера стало желание создать домашний фотоархив и спасти то, что ещё уцелело. В процессе работы стало ясно, что без программ, позволяющих привести фотографии в приемлемый вид, не обойтись. Поскольку в то время мой опыт работы с ПК оставлял желать лучшего, я искал простые программы, требующие моего минимального вмешательства по принципу “нажал и забыл”.
Я сразу отказался от платных программ. Причины просты: во-первых, у меня не было таких денег, и, кроме того, я не хотел покупать «кота в мешке». Во-вторых, большинство программ довольно сложны и предназначены скорее для профессионалов, а не для таких, как я.
Найти программы, которые были бы достаточно просты и в то же время имели бы минимально необходимый функционал, занятие довольно муторное. Но мои поиски были вознаграждены и до сегодняшнего дня я пользуюсь найденными тогда программами, которые предлагаю и вам. Воспользоваться ими или нет, каждый решает в меру своих потребностей и возможностей. Для моих целей их хватает и даже больше.
Итак, вот эти программы.
- Fotosizer По-просту говоря, это фотоувеличитель. Программа позволяет изменять размеры изображений, как одиночных, так и пакетами. Удобный и понятный интерфейс. I immediately refused paid programs. The reasons are simple: firstly, I did not have that kind of money, and, in addition, I did not want to buy a “cat in a poke”. Secondly, most programs are quite complex and designed more for professionals, and not for people like me.
To find programs that are quite simple and at the same time have the minimum necessary functionality, the task is quite difficult. But my searches were rewarded, and to this day I use the programs found then, which I offer you. To use them or not, everyone decides to the best of their needs and capabilities. For my purposes, they are enough and even more.

Ранее в §9 я писал о важности чистки истории браузера. Но есть ещё одна проблема, на которую мало кто обращает внимание. Нередко скорость работы интернета, заявленная провайдером для конкретного тарифа, не соответствует действительности и порой бывает значительно ниже. Как в этом удостовериться? Рекомендую воспользоваться сервисом PR-CY.ru, который имеет специальный тест проверки скорости интернет соединения. Кроме этого сервис позволяет провести подробный анализ вашего сайта, для чего достаточно просто зарегистрироваться на нём. Анализ абсолютно бесплатный, но полученная информация может здорово помочь в оптимизации вашего сайта и выявить ошибки.

Когда-то я выбрал для себя такой сервис-онлайн и пользуюсь им до сих пор. Для моих целей его хватает – просто, быстро и качественно. Вот он – demotions.ru. Всё, что нужно, загрузить понравившуюся картинку или фото на ПК, открыть программу, скачать картинку и снабдить её заголовком и текстом. Остаётся скопировать и вставить в текст вашей публикации.
